How do I clean the acrylic image?
You can dust with a soft, dry cloth. If there is need for something stronger to clean the surface a solution of mild detergent (such as dish soap) and water, slightly dampening a soft cloth to remove stains, finger prints or dirt from the acrylic. Buff dry with a clean cloth. Never use glass cleaners (such as Windex) on acrylic. The ammonia and other chemicals can react with the acrylic, causing permanent damage. Do not use paper towels to clean or buff the acrylic; the coarse fibers in paper can scratch the surface of the acrylic.

Per Lithonia's webpage, the 24" or 48" fixtures are at exactly 24" and 48". However, the contracted GC or Electrical Sub who installs the fixtures may use another vendor’s product whose length may vary. Usually what is built is not as exact to the drawings. For example, the 12' -0" on the 12’ Circular drawings might be more like 11'-11" or somewhat larger. This would allow the GC to use their discretion to use smaller strips at the end to give them more room. The best suggestion is to have the strip lighting which is being used to be laid out roughly 12”-15” apart and 6” -8” above the image to insure no hot/cold spots.

Many of our customers have asked what the difference is between the TESS Duratransparencies and our competitor's ink jet processing. The following is a comparison.
TESS Duratransparencies take large format photographs and through a photographic emulsion process, produce ceiling panels or wall units with distinct contrast and subtleties because of color saturation and density. TESS provides realistic Backlit Views to Nature™ and demands that all of their backlit products transmit light creating dynamic color, pronounced clarity and depth for a life-like quality.
Alternatively our competitor's inkjet printing, though a viable commercial process, uses pigmented inks. These are not designed to transmit light like the TESS photographic emulsion layers. When inkjet is backlit, colors are washed out and there is no depth of field giving the images a two-dimensional look.
If you’re going for a quality image, TESS photographic duratransparencies are much sharper, wider in gamut, and are more saturated.
Looking at our competition's skylight is like looking at a picture of the sky, whereas looking at a TESS skylight is like looking at the sky.
